From 1979 to 1999 I ran a highly successful plant, floral and display business.
From lowly beginnings, hawking cheap palms to even cheaper offices up to creating floral extravaganzas for major hotels, convention centers and all manner of dignitaries... not the least of whom being Lady Di (like she didn't get enough flowers!)
In short, after 20 years I burned out, sold out and eventually went out - on a limb, to pursue my new vocation in cartoon illustration,taking with me all that I learned by trial, tribulation and humiliation !
Suffice it to say, I know all about self motivation, customer satisfaction, hard work, team work, grunt work and communication skills.
